I haven't touched alcohol for over 10 years. I only ever drank occasionally anyway and it did nothing for me apart from give me a splitting headache after just one drink. It obviously doesn't agree with me so best just avoided.

Blimey, it was the first hour of 2024 when I knocked the telly off this morning, what'd I miss.Cooooooe and a happy new year for 20224 to one and all. Let's hope we all have a good year.

Cut short by flooding about 1/4 mile from Dunster station.

I am happy to report that my grandson who has a sniffer nose of a bloodhound did not turn up for lunch.
He wa working in the local pub last night so probably didn't get to bed until late after gossiping with the locals.
