They're not number four/fourth one down!

I dunno, you asked for opinions then went against them and chose your own.

Ahhh there is a reason for that.
But it's complicated.
Please forgive me.

Started young, and still going.

Barnet,
Good morning all.
The green bin for garden rubbish has been emptied this morning, first collection of the year.
It's not going to be too bad weather wise, so a nice walk across the fields with Millie, MrsP also wants to go to the post office as she has a parcel to return and wants to go to a couple of other shops. I feel a stop at a cafe for coffee and croissants might be on the cards.
The front room carpet is looking a bit grubby so I'll get the cleaner out and have a go at that later on.
Plus, I'll possibly watch the FA cup game on the BBC, and then there is another retirement do this evening.
Another busy day in paradise. :cuppa:

We are having the kids for the weekend

They are arriving mid morning
if you look at the time then you will see that they are late
good job we only had plans for this afternoon and not this morning - although I could have done some shopping that needs doing!

the parents are going to a wedding fair in Manchester
apparently the venue has a 3 year waiting list!!!

for ****'s sake - it is just a party - how hard can it be????

I ended up walking to and from parkrun and spectating while Mrs Tkk ran. Back for brunch which consisted of: the remains of the veggie haggis left over from burns night chucked in the air fryer with a couple of veggie sausages and hash browns. While that was chuntering away I fried up the leftover neeps and tatties in one pan, mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach in another pan and baked beans with Hendersons relish in a third. A couple of rounds of toast completed the preparations.

I have a problem and need your help.

My daughter messaged to say she is coming round to spend a couple of hours putting all my gear in the new wardrobes.
I told her my legs are really bad today and she said (and here is my problem) "you don't need to do anything, just sit there and give your instructions".
Now, in 56 years of marriage I was never able to do that and tbh don't know where to start !
I am sat here trying it out in different tones.... its just not working .
What am I going to do ?
