It's my wedding anniversary today. Mr WD has forgotten.

I have a problem and need your help.

My daughter messaged to say she is coming round to spend a couple of hours putting all my gear in the new wardrobes.
I told her my legs are really bad today and she said (and here is my problem) "you don't need to do anything, just sit there and give your instructions".
Now, in 56 years of marriage I was never able to do that and tbh don't know where to start !
I am sat here trying it out in different tones.... its just not working .
What am I going to do ?

Unless you have strong preferences as to what goes where, tell her you’ll leave it up to her. I’m sure she will make a good job of it. Just sit and chat to her while she’s doing it so she feels you’re taking an interest.

But the I will miss my 1st ever chance to give out instructions.

Very enjoyable evening last night, free bubbly, short speeches and a piano and guitar medley provided by Fyfe Dangerfield. The exhibition, entitled, murmuration included some interesting artwork and thought provoking pieces.

Home again now for a month or so 🙂
