Can’t see me ever trying racing. I’m enjoying Zwift though. It’s making all the difference keeping me motivated and not allowing the Wattbike and treadmill to become clothes hangers!

If you ever fancy giving it a go both 'the Herd' and team 'cryo-gen' have teams at every level and are very supportive and a great community. In the higher cats it can get more competitive but down in cat D and cat C where I play it's more about the craic, certainly in the ttt.

That’s what everyone says….until they use one 😉
Have one pal who always laughed at me when I suggested it. She is a voracious reader. Now you couldn’t pry her kindle from her! You soon realise it is the reading & stories you enjoy, not the holding the book and turning pages (& yes, I remember her telling me it was the “feel of the book” she loved!) 🤷‍♂️
That said, people keep buying me physical books. We need a cull!

I agree.

Time and time again people have said to me or Mrs SD that they prefer real books but have changed their mind after trying one. Off the top of my head I can think of 8 convertees alone that I have 'converted'.

What's not to like? Cheap to buy plus we use Kindle Unlimited which is only 8 or 9 quid a month, built in illumination, screen looks the same as a book (On Paperwite it looks even better), very light, very portable and easily capable of holding more books than we are ever likely to read at our age. And a real big one, at least for me, you can choose books from your own home (or even bed) with instant download. No more (often fruitless) searches for books in bookstores.

I love mine. Splurged on the Kindle Scribe several months ago for the bigger screen.

Stuck with the slightly bigger latest Paperwhite here. Didn't need 'scribing' facilities tbh plus my PW fitted with a strap on the back is just the right size for bed reading and the strap makes sure it doesn't hit the floor when I nod off. ^_^

I've just cancelled my Amazon Prime account. I've not been impressed with them lately anyway, and now adding more ads to the streaming unless you pay even more is rankling, so they've shot themselves in the foot as far as I'm concerned.

Better get out for another wander since it's dry.

Cancelled mine too Mo, not willing to pay money to get ads pushed at me. Coupled with the stuff they sell getting more Ebay / Ali Express like. I often find the stuff they sell to be no cheaper than buying direct.

I ordered and just had delivery of meals from Wiltshire Farm Foods. I have tried them when I used to order for Sue's aunty's and they were quite good. Generous with the veg also which I need.
They had an offer on which meant I got 6 meals and 3 soups for £20.00 includes delivery......not bad imo.
