19 miles done on the Wattbike. I should have got off to switch the fan on. I thought I would be ok as I was cold before I started but I was dripping by the end.

I think I can hear the bin lorry along the street so I'll wait till it's been and bring the bin in then get lunch.

It's still gloomy but I think it's dry at the moment. Might get a short leg stretch after lunch.

New microwave arrived, unpacked and set up. The old one ( panasonic ) packed up a couple of days ago, we purchased it during lockdown and it was the only one we could get at the time. New one looks more user friendly with a large bright display, and it has a few " Shortcut " buttons. While I was clearing and cleaning the space where it goes I gave the toaster a once over, empied the crumb tray etc. The toaster will be 20 years old in September 😮

Picky about 1/8th inch.
My wife was happy if it was 'about' 8 inches.

Good morning, a drizzly morning, daughter and granddaughter got back from Amsterdam yesterday and I can't wait to hear of granddaughter's adventures. They went to Amsterdam by train from Bournemouth on Friday, Bournemouth to Waterloo then across to St Pancras to get the direct train to Amsterdam. They left home at 7am and were in Amsterdam at 4 pm. Mrs Tkk are thinking about taking our brommies over for a bit of an explore 🚲🚲

Good service but expensive.

Car got through the MOT but needed all four tyres replacing and the front brake pads. Including a minor service the total bill was a couple of quid short of £750.
We've had the car since 2017 when it was just six months old and so far apart from the yearly service is hasn't cost us anything in repairs. The tyres and brake pads were the originals.
