Morning all :hello:

Got to shift the rest of my dumpy bag full of chippings this morning, before the rain sets in.
Rooks are kicking off in the field opposite and the seagulls are squawking like mad - it's like a Hitchcock film out there!
Brothers in law have decided to come and stay for a weekend in March. Deep joy. 48 hours of being bored to death.

That's the one with the 'wet belt' oil pump drive system, isn't it?
Terrible design.
Ford has issued a major recall on them.

No trouble with ours yet, 38,000 miles on the clock.
That's jinxed it.😳

Is that an MG4?

Deep breath...

MG ZS EV Trophy Long Range.

Possibly the longest car name ever. Mrs D's new daily, and she's very happy with it. I liked the 4 and the reviews are stellar, but it was a wee bit small for a Labrador and a driver or paseenger of my  girth height and build. It would have been doable, but as the slightly larger ZS was available for the same monthly rental it would have been rude not to.

Out for lunch to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We went to a lovely local pub with great food and charming staff. Went to settle the bill and discovered that our granddaughter ate for free as there's a promotion on at the moment. Good to see that the kids menu wasn't limited to the usual offerings but had some good quality dishes including freshly grilled trout.
