Mixed grill for us today. :hungry:

I've got a couple of beer battered Haddock fillets to cook. I'll do my homemade oven chips and some peas to go with. :hungry:

Firstly - Happy Birthday @Dave7

secondly - got a phone call from the GP this morning - they want me to talk to a doctor
not urgent so no need to worry - which I won;t

but the first appointment they can offer me is 6th March!!

Grand kids are here at the moment - but more muddy than when they arrived last night

took them for a walk in the local park - older 2 were under instructions to not mention the "P" word (playground) as it was raining and wet

took my eyes off the 3 year old - I knew he was only a few yards away from me and behind me

checked on the other 2 and looked back
3 year old was standing in the middle of a patch of grass that had more in common with the Dead Marshes that the Centre Court at Wimbledon and was complaining that his feet were wet!!!!!

by the time we left all 3 we a bit wet due to finding a skateboard park and managing to slip and slide down wet metal ramps

still - serves the adults (other adults???) right - don;t let me loose with kids and expect them to come back clean and dry!!!

All successful grandparent / grandchild outings required the children to return wet and dirty. 😊

The unwritten rule is that kids should never be clean after playing anywhere, anytime, and with anything. It's a grandparents lawful duty to ensure that

Barnet,
Morning all.
I'm currently listening to Tony Blackbum on the radio and drinking tea.
Today I am off to White Hart Lane to watch Spurs play Wolverhampton Wanderers. My son and his mate are season ticket holders, and his mate is working today, so I have bought his ticket through the Spurs ticket donation scheme. I am a member of Tottenham Hotspur by the way.
Before that there is this mornings dog walking, and then a cycle up to the local shops for a few essentials.
No cooking today, we'll have a Chinese takeaway when I get back from the footy.
