Started young, and still going.
Morning all.
The rain is hammering down, and is set to continue all day. An indoors kind of day might be had.
Although one of the cats, Daisy is going to the Vets at lunchtime for an ongoing stomach problem.

Good morning, a bit blowy but the rain has finally stopped. Mrs Tkk has a couple of keep fit / yoga classes so I might go for a run.
Granddaughter No 2 is due back from China today, granddaughter No 1 has a sleepover so Mrs Tkk is tasked with getting a jar of Lemon Curd which appears to be the new favourite spread🤔

The new Mini Oven / Airfryer arrived this morning. Not as big as I thought it would be, but in a good way, a bit Tardis like inside. It's very smart looking with a lot of nice touches such as a crystal clear illuminated display, and a magnetic centre rack that automatically ejects half way when you open the door and sensors that adjust the time / temperature ratio so the second load of toast doesn't get overdone.
Then it was a trip to meet Mrs Tkk at the dentist to hear the results of her dental bridge getting wonky. Unfortunately the crowned tooth where her bridge attaches needs extracting and there's signs of thinning in the jaw bone. She's been referred to an Orthodontist at the local cottage hospital to see what the best options are. It's probably going to be either a partial denture, or 2 dental implants @ £2000 each plus the cost of a new bridge 😮. Not my decision, but I did point out that £4K might be better spent on replacing some of the old worn furniture a new bike
My daughter has problems due to a fall when she was 8 years old.
Just recently it has worsend. The NHS dentist will take all her top teeth out. Private will sort it but cost £10K.
I will pay the £10K as they can't afford it.

A chilly walk done. Porridge finished and cuppa finished. Definitely needing another one though.

I don't normally watch daytime telly but I will stick the athletics on at 9.30 for the world indoor champs from Glasgow.

Morning all
SHould have gone for a ride yesterday - got the grass cut and was totally knackered

was going to go on the bike to get some stuff from the Pharmacy but couldn;t even do that
I presume it is due to the ongoing iron problems - telephone appointment on Wednesday about it - don;t expect anything much except more pills
would be nice (?) to know why this has happened and why iron tablets for a year doesn;t fix it!

anyway - rainy today so no bike
climbing with the grand daughter tomorrow - well she climb I just wander around offering encouragement and making suggestions

now - where was that porrige - or should it be Cornflakes today??

My dad kept having low iron problems. It got to the stage he needed a couple of blood transfusions and intravenous iron. They couldn't seem to get to the bottom of what was causing it. He was due to go in for another colonoscopy before he passed away.

Hope it doesn;t go that far
I suspect I will either need some B12 - or stop take the Omaprozol - or something
my diet is OK - I am one of the few people I know who actually get or exceed the "5-a-day" thingy!

anyway - see what happens on Wednesday!

anyway - thanks for cheering me up!!!!
