Afternoon folks 
Did some gardening this morning, put some broadbeans in and sowed some annual chrysanthemums. Quite warm and no need for a coat whilst working which leads me to my 'interesting' ride.... Ideal weather forecast, gentle breeze, sunny periods with chance of a occasional light shower hmmm right so of i go- to have one of the worst rides ive ever had! 6 miles up the road i stopped and took of one of my base layers as didnt want to over heat going over the hills [bad move]. The sky went grey and it ****ed down, sleet, hail stones and rain! My gloves were sodden and at one point the front of my jacket was turning white from the sleet. Then followed 20 miles of hell, couldnt feel my thumbs/fingers to change gear, my feet were blocks of ice and i was getting seriously chilled i did consider stopping to put the base layer back on but just kept going to maintain some heat. A mile from home it was like another world reasonably warm and dry, i struggled and fumbled trying to get my key in the door..... Phew! i'll remember that one for sure. Beware the Highlands and take the weather forecast with a shovel of salt...

Well I have pottered in my workroom. I've moved things around to make it look like I have more room than i actually have.

much to my surprise I went out and back with great ease - on the way out I was thinking I must have tail wind in spite of the canal being flaty calm
in the way home it was the same
no idea how my body energy works nowadays!!!
anyway - got back and suggested we watch the recording of F1 qualifying but my wife wants to wait for the new which is on in a few minutes
first item we saw on the news - results of F1 qualifying!!!!
