Blimey, you edit your post a little over twenty minutes after posting, saying you've met him and that he is a nice guy. I didn't expect you to arrange a meet up just so you could check.

Laura Muir is running tonight in the 3000 metres. She has a good chance of winning.

Could Mo "line up against her" on her treadmill and try and beat her?

Out of curiosity when I was out this morning, I ran 3000 metres just to see. I was just over 19 minutes. Even the slowest woman in that race was 9 minutes something so I was a whole 10 minutes slower!

Nope! Mind you she's less than half my age so she might have a slight advantage. Not to mention being a full time athlete with all the coaches, physios, nutritionists, training camps, etc that they all have. I sometimes wish I had got into running at a much younger age instead of only dabbling with it off and on from my late thirties.

I enjoy it though which is the main thing.

Off to watch it on telly now.

Planted my Pink Fir Apple spuds and my Centurion onion sets this morning.
Should be ready in about 3 months.
I also fixed a radiator thermostat that was sticking in our bedroom.
