Barnet,
My favourite greengrocer has closed. George and Chris have decided to retire. They have sold the business and it will continue as a grocers, hopefully it will be as good.
I cycled up there this morning to find the shop gutted, and being fitted out. I last went there last Wednesday, and he was still trading. . George was there with the new owners and introduced me to them.
I wait to see what they are going to be like.

Well I did launch the the boat and sail the first half of the race but the wind was as bad as expected so I finished early, got changed and watched the end of the race . This also meant I was first to the bar and as I am still the bar manager I had no trouble being served. 😂😀.

I have risen! 1st!

Sent most of yesterday in hospital with Mrs D. She's has a cold that won't shift, and it's bringing on her MS symptoms. Turns out is a nasty dose of pneumonia. They uummmmeedd and aaahhhheedd about keeping her un or sending her home, but they did release her in the end.

Interestingly, the CT scan showed covid scarring in her lungs. Interesting for us, as she's never to our knowledge had covid and when she's had colds and stuff has always tested negative. Doc says the home test kits are sheet, the covid scarring on the lung tissue speaks for itself.

Happy Birthday. You've caught up with me for a couple of months  I'm 65 in May. A year in May until I get my state pension.

A chilly but pleasant 6 mile walk done out past the allotments, through a field then round a local loch. The birds are all pairing up ready for the breeding season and the swans were busy feeding. Lots of bottoms up in the air. lol

Off for a curry at lunchtime as Mrs Tkk bumped into an ex colleague last week and arranged to meet with her and her husband. It's a lovely Nepalese restaurant, the " 29029 ". The lunchtime special is very good with a choice of three dishes for stater and main, one meat, one fish and one veggie. The food is always very well presented.
