Hello Mr Numbnuts.....I feared you had left us.....glad you haven't.

Hi Dave not I'm still here, but I don't like all my posts being scrutinised, yet "click and Co" can post what they like and get away with it.
It's the same on Cycling UK, but today the ban is being lifted at 15:16 after 4 weeks, I'm glad of this as my next post will tell them where to get off and I'll cancel my subscription.

On a lighter note I am just chomping on a slice of seeded bread with ham and mustard.
Later I will have some Brie cheese with crackers plus a glass of wine.

Today is the birthday of

Joss Verstappen - ex F1 driver and father of Max

Penny Mordaunt - her with the sword

My Grand-Dad

Anyway - that means she should, according to the law when we were growing up and started paying taxes - have had her pension nearly 4 years ago - mine should be next year - but we are both the year after that now so we will have to wait!!!

good job we have some employment pensions that are currently working

anyway

also - thanks to Dave for the nice comments

and best wishes to Mrs D - sorry to hear about the pne er - pen - err - neu - err
very very bad cold

no idea if we are doing anything this evening - but I have plans for a bottle of red!

Back from the Nepalese restaurant after an excellent meal with friends. Just got in the door when the heavens opened.I was enjoying a coffee and a lemon Bakewell topped with mini chocolate eggs when Mrs Tkk let out a loud squeal. I went dashing into the room expectiing a mouse / giant spider, but it was a squeal of joy as her dissertation results have just come through and she has passed. She had been doubting herself and mentioned the possibility of having to resubmit, when in actuality she got a pass with merit 😎

Nice for Mrs Tkk.
Never been to a Nepalese restaurant. Don't think I knew they existed.
What type of food is it? (Please don't say Nepalise).

My favourite greengrocer has closed. George and Chris have decided to retire. They have sold the business and it will continue as a grocers, hopefully it will be as good.
I cycled up there this morning to find the shop gutted, and being fitted out. I last went there last Wednesday, and he was still trading. . George was there with the new owners and introduced me to them.
I wait to see what they are going to be like.
Our local butcher sold to a young chap.A former abattoir worker.old butcher stayed on to introduce him.gave him good contacts where to buy his meat.Guy put up a bloody flag had a van painted.sadly his prices ŵent through the roof his meat was crap and poor quality.he lasted no time and shut down according to reports it cost him a fortune

It's basically Indian food. They serve to usual anglicised dishes seen in most Indian restaurants, but also several dishes more specific to Nepal. We find the dishes to be quite light and subtle, not at all oily which can be the case with some dishes.
