A moment of hilarity in Oncology outpatients earlier. I'd checked in and was waiting to see my consultant when a door opened ant the Phlebotomist called out " Jane Eyre ", a short pause as a few heads turned then the phlebotomist says " Oh, sorry, June Eyre " and everyone burst into laughter. As she led the elderly lady in to do her bloods she said " You do look good for your age " 🤣

Busy day. Up early at 0500hr to walk Bruce, Mini R to school, Mrs D to hossy, home for lunch, tidy up house and Shark the carpets, walk Mini D home, cut the grass for the 2nd time this year, hand a holder in the garden for my new hosepipe and a hanger in the garage for my strimmer.

Now collapsed in a heap with a coffee.

A very good lunch was had at The Duke of York. The pub, not Andrew's gaff.
Millie has been walked for the last time and it's turning a bit chilly out there.

Just booked a couple of weeks away in our caravan for MrsD's birthday in April.
Going down to Penzance and working our way back on a couple of sites. Might drop in to Braunton on the way back to catch up with our old neighbours.

Morning/night not sure but cant sleep... had a message yesterday from nice young person who finds/sources voluntary work and that she had 'exciting' news.....ooo er...im always wary about revelations like that...Anyhow a volunteer needed at the local wild life rescue so's looks like soon i'll be shovelling owl **** and burping baby hedgehogs.....
