Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I have to go to town to pick up Mr WD tablets. Apart from that I won't be doing much at all.

Grim! Blowy and wet so don't expect many on this morning's walk. There's a yellow warning of floods locally and the fields around Wimborne are sodden. Coincidentally I have just finished reading a book by Peter May " A Winter Grave" It's a murder mystery set in Scotland in 2035 where there's been much flooding and constant rain to the extent that large swathes are under water, the Glasgow underground is closed, and people get around the city centre by water taxi. ☔️🌧️☔️

Morning all :hello:

I bought a hydraulic motorcycle lift the other day and am expecting delivery in the next couple of days. It's pretty heavy and they only do a kerbside delivery, so I've got to figure out how to shift it the 75 yards from the road to my workshop. I think I've got a plan.......

Morning. Another cold, overcast and drizzly start. Walk done though.

I met a man yesterday on my walk and thought he was taking pics on his phone at first but it was a bird id app called Merlin so I downloaded it when I got home and had a play this morning. Nothing unusual. Just the normal Blackbird, Thrush, Blue and Great Tits, Woodpecker, Crow, Chaffinch, Robin, Wren, Pigeon, Coot and Canada Geese.

There's a little bird I see on the loch walk I do that I'm not sure about so I'll take it next time I go there and see what it says.

Went to see the play last night
Richard My Richard

very very good - apparently Richard II did not kill the Princes in the Tower - I heard him say so - so that's that cleared up - lots of other suspects anyway

so that was good

Today we seem to be picking up the daughter-in-law (if they ever get married anyway) from the grand-daughter's school

It is all rather complicated partly becuase she insists on having long 2 way conversations on WahtsApp rather than just ringing
and partly because she asks for something small - so as not to be a bother
but it turns out that everyone would be much much better off with something bigger
so she started asking us to pick the youngest up around tea time
then it turns out that she might be a bit pushed to pick up the kids from school and get home in time for the middle one to get back from school on his bus (door-to-door as it ias a Special School)
so it would be better if I drop my wife off at their house then go and pick her up at the school with the other 2 grandkids plus their cousin

all that took about 15 messages each way to work out what she REALLY wanted but didn;t want to ask for

if she would only just ask for stuff it would be a lot easier - we are quitre good at saying no when we need to!!!

I had a Jay in the garden earlier. They used to be a regular visitor but not now.

Just been to Aldi.
I have said it before but I find 0930 on Tuesday a good time as traffic is lighter and there are very few people shopping.
I have also said before that Aldi annoys me as there is always some 'popular' item they have run out of.....today it was 'skin on' fries.
I did pick up some nice topside of beef and a mixed salad so that is lunch sorted.
