Been for a kip (2 hours) , walked into the conservatory to be greeted with "hi Grandad".....my granddaughter.
She is doing lunch of potato cakes, eggs and various bits. She has bacon but it's steady and I can't stand fat.

It’s still raining, as it has been for two days now.
The courts didn’t ring today so I have to repeat the pattern of the day tomorrow, awaiting a possible call between 8.30 and 1. However, good news, on the third attempt at their inadequately-staffed ‘help’ number this afternoon I gained from them an assurance that they wouldn’t ask you to come in on the same day as the call. So hopefully I’ll be able to go out on my bike tomorrow secure in the understanding that all that is required from me is to answer their call if they ring. It’s a shame that they couldn’t state that in their recorded message or indeed their webpage faq’s.

The hills are alive tra la...with chattering teeth went for a walk across the golf links and along the beach jeez was it ever cold. an icy north easterly blast made my eyes water. Disturbed a meadow pipit in the grass which fluttered up into the wind and it blew away like a tennis ball hit with a racket So today has been cancelled mostly, just had a spin on the roller and will look through my dvds for something to watch [again].
