A mixed day ahead for me.
Fitter is coming to finish the kitchen but I have found a problem which will mean them supplying and fitting 2 new doors. They won't be happy but I 'feel' they are genuine people.... ...we shall see.

That's good fun. I did it a few years back. On a clear day, like today the views are wonderful.

Good morning all. The sun is up and the sky is blue, there's not a cloud to spoil the view.

Good morning folks. The sun is shining ☀️ and my iPad informs me that our panels started generating about half an hour ago. A busy day lies ahead, the outhouse door that I stripped back to bare wood and treated with a decades old half can of wood primer that I found at the back of the shed will hopefully be dry now after two full days, I'd forgotten how pungent the old oil based solvent paints were. Then there's a door to fit for a friend who in return will help me by taking some stuff to the tip. Finally we have the " Bluebell Bake Off " this evening, a walk through the bluebell woods at Pamphill followed by the judging of the cakes we have baked. My effort was a bit of a disaster as I thought I would add a couple of tweaks to the recipe. I will take it along anyway, just need to arrange a forklift truck as it is a bit heavy 😮
