Yes, and I often still question myself as to why I joined!

Morning. Seems nice enough if a bit overcast. I am going to try and force myself out for a bimble after my cuppa.

Morning all, the boiler engineer should be her today, it packed up a couple of weeks ago, will it be a few hundred pounds or a few thousand pounds, we will see.

We have a traditional Gloworm boiler ( non Combi ) that's over 25 years old and still going strong🤞Fortunately spares are still readily available. The lady who services our boiler was apprenticed to the chap who used to service it until retirement, British Gas trained in the years when they had a proper apprenticeship scheme and before the introduction of Combi boilers contributed to the deskilling of the trade.
When it eventually packs up then a heat pump will be installed.

I have thought about air pumps, ideal house for it, I had it built to my ideas sixteen years ago, underfloor heating and well insulated. The only slight problem I have is that I do want to live here much longer, it is too large for one person.

Good morning from a blue grey Poole. Black bin this week, walking group and veg box delivery this morning. Contacted a painter and decorator as the hall, stairs and landing need a bit of tlc.
Yesterday's run with Mrs Tkk saw me turning back after a couple of miles and walking home due to the legs saying " not today ", went for a lie down and slept for a couple of hours after which I felt somewhat better.
Yesterday also saw me trying on different combinations of clothes in preparation for this weekend's trip up to London and the Brompton World Championships, Mrs Tkk and I have places in one of the earlier heats. I'm minded to go for the Johny Cash look, black with a red bow tie and accents to match my Brommie😎
