I very rarely seem to dream, or if I do I don’t remember them. Possibly because I don’t sleep very well. I used my new sound machine thing last night. I used the brown noise rather than pink or white as it is lower pitched and I find it more pleasant. According to my Garmin I seemed to get slightly more deep sleep than usual so maybe it will help.

I don't mind dreams as I don't have bad ones ie nightmares. I wonder why some people have them and others don't. Weird innit.

I do all the cooking
I just have to cook hers in strange and weird ways which she regards as normal (for some weird and otherwise unknown definition of "normal")

Today is the day!!
starting volunteering as a "Digital Champion" at the local library
basically just sitting around and helping out anyone who comes in wanting any help on the computers
No idea what to expect
just wish they had chosen a different name
I have seen naff all saying we will be available in the libraries - so I suspect it will take a while for people to be aware we are available
anyway - I will be spending 2 hours in a building with computers and books - and (I hope) the ability to make tea)

Do you make all sorts of meals using basic ingredients eg spaghetti bol or curries ?
I used to enjoy "creatiing" meals but now it's just me it's too much hassle and I will open a jar of curry paste.

Salut. I have taken the chain off the Roubaix and put it to soak in white spirit till tomorrow. I didn't realise how dirty it was although I oil the links regularly.
Having lunch and tea at
BiL in Caernarfon today so will be leaving here late morning after dropping Molly at our son's cos they don't like dogs. Should be back around 8 pm.

I used to do things from jars for stuff like Spag bol and curry
but if it was for me I would fiddle around - i.e. add an extra onion of whatever and extra spices - I like the base sauce but wanted more spice or texture or whatever
mostly I just liked faffing about
cooking from scratch I have often found that it doesn;t end up as good as a good jar - at least as far as the base goes
probably just me not doing it properly!
If cooking for SWMBO - I have to follow instruction or she will have problems
she really just likes stuff like she is used to
although funnily enough she can be more experimental in restaurants
as long as it doesn;t involves any obvious
fat
cucumber ( a specific thing she detests - (alhough her brother is even worse about it)
onions
pretty much any veg!
so it can be a bit difficult to cook for her!!!

Yes, I will use a base sauce but add eg garlic paste or chilli....I always use lots of mushrooms and onions.
