I am 82 and used to have results like that.
Last time I saw my GP to review my bloods he decided that he had better take my blood pressure and when he saw the results he prescribed a 5mg tablet to take daily. (Mary is on 12.5mg)
This morning I recorded 133/72 P70.

I moved to Boots this year, but as they are all franchises, as are Specsavers it all depends on the quality and experience of the optician and the staff.

Pedant alert!

Technically, Specsavers are joint ventures and not franchises. JV's tend to have a stronger brand identity as well as tighter systems and procedures controls.

It's still very dark out there - must be cloudy.
Today I shall put a new cassette on the MTB I've been working on, and then it should be ready for collection. Be glad to see the back of it; it's been totally neglected by a young lad and it could have ended up as a complete money pit. I've done the bare minimum to it in order to make it usable again - new crank, bottom bracket, cassette, chain and pedals. Everything needed cleaning and adjusting. I just know it's going to be abused again.
Still.....at least he'll have his bike for Christmas.

I "think" I have had a good sleep. Up for a pee at 4:30 and kept thinking I will not get back to sleep, then suddenly it was 07.00.
I think I am going to the pub at lunchtime, assuming my neighbour/friend is up for it.
Apart from that I have little to do which is fine with me.

After sorting my Dad's estate, I received a letter from the Inland Revenue with a cheque for a rebate...a whole £1.40. Why bother, it must cost more to post it!!!

Do you have a spare key? If so the worst case is the cost to have one cut. If there are complications there are companies that will call out and sort it for you, OK it will cost a few bob but they are experts so can do everything for you.
