Started young, and still going.

Good morning from Poole. A quiet lul for Mrs Tkk as everyone else has headed out to meet up with friends / extended family. I spotted my first " resolutioneer " of the season this morning, which is my made up word for someone who has had the health warning or decided on a new fitness regime. Striding out with swinging arms and a determined stride. It's something I applaud. Meanwhile yesterday saw close on 1600 people turn up at Poole park for Christmas Day parkrun 😮
Just put up the curtain pole across the doorway, granddaughter got a bit enthusiastic while playing hide and seek, it's a friction fit jobbie so no damage to fixing or personnel 😁

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
We bought a nice big joint of lamb in Morrisons on Monday. It should have been £25.00 but if I had a more card it was £14.00, so I used my card. We've cut it Into 1 joint, and there is enough for at least 2 lamb casseroles and some leftover for us to have as a couple of chops today with maybe beans and egg and sausage

The family are starting to descend for Boxing Day. The smart ones are headed for Ewood to watch the mighty Rovers (5th) take on Sunderland (4th). This is a BIG game. In the next week we also have Leeds (away - 2nd) and Burnley (3rd). The impact on our season of these three games will be huge. Ewood is close to sold out today and probably 98% sold for Burnley. We sold out Leeds as well. Big, big 10 days ahead.

The others are going for a walk!! 🤔

Homemade brocoli and Stilton soup for lunch. Mrs P's (she had an Italian mother) homemade lasagne ❤️❤️❤️ for tea. I have selected a good bottle of red from Scicily.
