Well, I left the car too long between runs this time so it wouldn’t start. Fortunately I had anticipated my stupidity and purchased a portable jump starter a few months ago. I really must get into the habit of using it at least once per week.

I took a run into Perth and got some shopping in Lidl for a change to give it a decent run.

My CRV doesn't get used much these days and consequently the battery often hasn't enough charge to start it.
I bought a jump starter box off eBay a couple of months ago and used it for the first time yesterday. It works brilliantly!
Hooked it up and switched it on, got in the car and it fired up instantly. Recommended. :okay:

I got this one. I was also impressed by how good it was.

Good morning all.
All the usual stuff to do today, but late this afternoon and evening there is a retirement door the last of the apprentices I started work with.in 1974. We did work together at the same depot for the last 15 years, but he stayed on for an extra 7 years after I left. He has managed just over 50 years, that's commitment.
