Chilly but pleasant wander done and porridge had.

I have had a mad notion to learn an instrument recently Having researched a fair bit, I have discounted almost everything as being too difficult except the ukulele so got a cheap one coming later today. Only £60 so if I use it a few times and get fed up, it’s no huge loss. At least nowadays there’s loads of great teaching lessons on the tube. Maybe if I take it really slowly and don’t try to learn too much at once, I might pick it up enough to at least manage half a dozen easy chords

You should have said something sooner. I could have got you a violin for £20 on Wednesday.

My car is poorly at the moment. My exhaust is broken ( not my exhaust my cars exhaust). Mr WD and the bin have managed to wire it up so that I can take it to the garage which is only 4 miles away. They will fix it and MOT it while it's there. The bin will follow me to the garage in his car and bring me back.

Hopefully I will have my car on the road again by the middle of next week.

Good Morning. I have been awake far too long. We may have #2SP for a sleepover on Sunday night, we're not sure yet as her parents haven't replied yet. If I don't sleep tonight I'll be a wreck by Monday morning!!!

Anyway. I've just checked the weather, a high of 3⁰ and cloudy. This is when the snow stops. The Met Office have sent me a message to say the snow will stop by 8.00am.............it hasn't started yet guys!! My day will be spent on the allotment. When I decided this on Wednesday the forecast was sunny all day. Wrap up warm, methinks. There has been a minor miracle over the last few days. I've just sat down with a cup of coffee with a plan to fix the printer. Switch on the laptop and printer, paper begins to spew from the printer with letters on it. Hasn't worked for ten days and now it does. Don't you just love IT?????

It is raining quite hard at the moment, the cats didn't look too happy about going out. They'll be back soon.
It's our daughters birthday today, so I'm treating her to lunch at The Duke of York, obviously MrsP will be there as well.
