Morning. Quite pleasant here but no sign of the sun yet. 5 mile wander done with a bit of climbing.

We tend to have either homemade vegan sausage rolls or homemade pizza on a Friday. We're not vegan or vegetarian but it's a lovely recipe.
Fish is tomorrow for us and usually salmon. No particular reason, just habit.

I would have been on battered cod but
I am on Tai curry later, courtesy of my daughter. Its handy, if she is cooking for the family it's not a problem to do a bit more for me. Saves me cooking for just one.

I've peaked a bit early.
First round of exercises done,
I've earthed up the potatoes at the bottom of the garden, brushed the dog, combed one of the cats and now on my third mug of tea.
The sun is out, all is well with the world. 🤔

Bedding is stripped and all in the washer. While that is drying I will do my dark wash.

Phone call at 9 am

which - very unusually - was not a call from "Bank Security" who seem to be very concerned about something and ring between 9 and 10 2-3 times a week

Anyway it was SWMBO's son asking if we could change the day we are picking the kids up from school
we can't
something about wedding and hats

anyway cut the lawn yesterday - first time I have cut the back lawn since the back was redesigned and stuff - worrying that it was still so short but it looks better now
Lawn care person is coming next week and after that we can;t cut it for a week or so so it needed doing before then

Thinking of heading of on the bike in a minute or 20
not sure where to go - might go to the airport - dunno
