I did that as a teenager.I was p*ssed and got the train from Liverpool to the Wirral. Woke up, pitch black, in the sidings at West Kirkby.
It was 4 in the morning and I faced a 4 mile walk home while bladdered.

Been there done that!

Did it several times after drinking in West Kirby Sailing Club

getting a taxi involved a long wait with no good reason to believe they would even turn up
so I started just walking home

turns out that the sign for the brick yards along the Meols strait is a great place to have a wee!!

also prevents a hangover after the long walk!

Spent most of the day "spring-cleaning" the conservatory. Mrs O decided to wash the cushion covers so now we need a new set of cushions and covers because the fabrics had all rotted in the UV. That was a more expensive day than expected. On the bright side, the Karcher Window vac was great for cleaning all the windows and the roof

I hope you have more success than I did. Replacements were so expensive I ended up buying new furniture.

He is supposed to be a representative of god, so why doesn't God selects him himself instead of his servants?

He did…..through them.

Morning. I wasn’t sleeping and got up for the loo and have decided just to stay up. Cuppa and a browse then I’ll head out early for a walk. Might jog a bit if the legs feel up to it.

Barnet,
Good morning all fellow retirees.
A sunny start to the day here in Barnet, with temperatures due to get up to around 22⁰.
It's going to be a good day to be out in the garden.
Tony Blackburn is playing on the radio and the first mug of tea is being drunk :cuppa:
Enjoy your day everyone.

Good morning from yet another sunny day in Dorset. Had a great trip to Dorchester yesterday, a couple of locally brewed beers in Copper Street Brewery followed by lunch in the Blue Raddle. Mediterranean vegetable pie with peas, chips and gravy was followed by a plum crumble with custard. Fell asleep on the train back to Poole, fortunately my companions woke me so I didn't end up at Waterloo 😁
