Started young, and still going.
Good morning all.
Another bright sunny start to the day here.
Some more gardening to be done and some watering as the ground is very dry.
Our Daughter is calling in, we are having a late breakfast, brunch as it is called, no doubt she will partake.

Morning.
Lovely day again although forecast is for hit and miss showers later. My legs bit achy from yesterdays hilly ride so probably a day of maintenance chores around house.
Hopefully I'll manage to stroll out into garden later and test out sustainablilty of the deckchair...

We've got some bluebells in our garden. Here's one of the cats doing his morning inspection. For anyone wondering, the fence is actually a purpose built cat proof fence designed to stop our cats escaping as there is a quite quiet A road about 100metres from house but traffic does on occasion go through quickly. When we first had house built we lost a couple cats on the road so vowed it would not happen again. Hence at some expense I had fence installed around our very large garden to keep them in. They've still got loads of room to roam about but within a safe area.

Good Morning. :sun: this weather is going on a bit. My allotment needs rain.......................got tot find something to moan about with all this sunshine. Well then. What's to do? I shall be pottering. If I find something exciting to do I will let you all know. ^_^

Pleasant walk done and half way through my porridge now.

The bluebells are nearly gone. They are dying off and getting choked out by the bracken. If the river gets any lower we will be able to walk across!

Reminds of a house I used to live in
There was a tree lined river just over a small field at the bottom of the garden and in winter it was sometimes a raging torrent
but in summer I sometime put my wellies on and could walk across it!

great place - not that great a house - it was a 1940s old counsel semi - but the position was amazing!!
