So you should know the risks better than anyone and be understanding of the riders decision. A wet track and windy increases risk by a singnificant amount.
I do understand the risks very well.
I'm sure that a lot of riders would be happy to have started yesterday.
The decision to not run was probably based on the views of the top riders - I doubt they canvassed the whole field.
You ride to the conditions, wet, dry, windy or misty. It's an island in the middle of the Irish Sea. Have the organisers forgotten that?
