Good morning all.
Another sunny, warm start to the day here.
I'll be out with the dog soon before it gets too warm. Due to get up to 27⁰ later on.
There is a meeting of the escape committee this afternoon, although several members will not be attending, their absence is noted.

Mini D off to school early as away on a trip to Belgium.

Bruce walked early, listened to some Boston on the way round.

My arse hurts, feels like I've pulled something in the area of my left buttock. I either strained it doing fence painting or I've been abducted by aliens for a probing.

My weather station recorded a max of 32.8°C yesterday.

All this warm weather has had the side effect of pre heating the cold water tank in the loft. The water coming from the cold taps fed from it is practically tepid so when the boiler fires up it's not got as much work to do. The energy monitoring app I use shows it to be pretty consistent.

Morning.
Hot! Although bit oercast at the moment and very humid/muggy. Should be another scorcher and then cooling off over weekend and unfortunately back to normal next week, ie wind and rain.
Tesco due in a bit then I'll be cleaning hot tub. Weights session later.

Stay cool folks.

Morning again. Not long back from a spin. I managed 37 miles which is the most I’ve done in months. I think most of the cycling fitness I used to have has gone and it felt a bit of a struggle. Good to get something done before the heat builds up though.

30-40 was my 'go to' mileage on my normal routes.
IMO a decent mileage any day, well done the Mighty Mo.
