30-40 was my 'go to' mileage on my normal routes.
IMO a decent mileage any day, well done the Mighty Mo.

Yep, 30 miles is a usual ride for me. This year I've done a lot more in the 50-60 mile range as the weather been so good and dry roads etc.

I ride purely for fun and fitness, I'm not specifically training for anything so a 30 mile spin is perfectly adequate a lot of the time. I do enjoy longer rides with a cafe stop, just depends on conditions.

Morning again. Not long back from a spin. I managed 37 miles which is the most I’ve done in months. I think most of the cycling fitness I used to have has gone and it felt a bit of a struggle. Good to get something done before the heat builds up though.

After reading that I got quite a sweat on :heat:
Well done Mo

Speaking of Mo and her decadent lifestyle, ( swanning around on her bicycle, eating sophisticated breakfasts etc ) I've just got back from a 5k run around Pocket Park. There were a couple walking back from their allotmend which borders the park. She was carrying two large tubs filled with freshly picked raspberries, and he had a very big potato and a handfull of shallots. They said that it's a very good year for soft fruit.

I love when the local berries come into the supermarket. There’s a grower over in Dunning where I came from originally.

@Mo1959 put me to shame this morning with her ride, so I went out for my first ride of the year  just 9 miles, more of a skake down ride to see if every thing was OK, the battery was fine, but the computer wasn't working, I re-alined the contacts, but still no joy, so sorted it out when I got back home and put some spray on the chain as it looked a bit dry, so all ready for my next trip out.

The blackberry bushes are loaded with flowers, just need the 🐝 🐝 to do their stuff and then some rain to swell the berries.
