Weetabix are a claggy, soggy & icky after the milk has soaked in... I accidentally had a couple of MrsPete's once as we'd run out of proper cereals and I didn't fancy porridge.
I though they'd gone bad or that the milk had soured.
Turned out they were banana flavoured... Who in the great Trump of things would make Banana Weetabix I ask you!! 🤮

I actually liked them but the Co-op stopped stocking it. They only have plain or chocolate now. I don’t see the point of eating a reasonably healthy breakfast cereal with chocolate. Kind of defeats the purpose. You would be as well with Cocopops.

Good Morning. Another day is dawning, on a sunny Lancashire morning......................go on hum it! Is this is a conspiracy??? Several posters are trying to turn me away from my Weetabix with stories of excessive consumption, butter, claggyness and banana flavoured. Banana flavoured????? Geez. That's right up there with the Strawberry and Cream flavoured hot cross buns I encountered earlier this year.

I have nothing pressing today but I do have a bike that needs exercising. What with one thing and another she's been shut in for a couple of weeks. Thursday and Friday look like good possibilities as well. Mrs P is out this afternoon which means I'm cooking tonight. I'm going to rummage around in the freezer and prepare something before I go riding.

Good morning all.
Do I need to offer my resignation from this section......just 1 weetabix does me. It WAS 2 before I lost my appetite, honest.
Supposed to be a sunny day but weirdly an hour of rain at 08.00.
@PaulSB can I ask, when you had the camera down yer gob were you sedated?
Wimp!

My investigation, colonoscopy, was from the opposite end!!! I chose to have Entonox, gas and air, which once I got the hang of worked very well. Long slow deep breaths were good, gasping was not, by deep breathing I relaxed to the point I didn't need it.

If you're procedure is down the throat I can't see you being able to use Entonox. I've had tubes inserted down the throat. I would chose sedation next time.

I had it down the throat some years ago. The stupid nurse said I won't need sedation when what she really meant was she couldn't be arsed......worst experience of my life.
For this one the Doc has advised me to have "double sedation" whatever that is.
