Good morning. Wet and fresh which is really rather pleasant. @Drago hope you're feeling good this morning?

It's Mrs P's treatment day so naturally everything is centred around taxiing her safely to and from hospital. Preparing tea is a part of this as she will be nackered this afternoon. I must go and root around in the kitchen and come up with an idea. All week we've taken the easy option with pasta, curry etc. A little invention is needed this evening. I need to shop. Mrs P went yesterday and got less than 50% of the list I provided........I often get a row for not going "off piste" when I shop......................but I do buy everything that's on the friggin' list!!!!!

We have to leave at 10.00, I'm trying to get the domestics and my exercises done before then to free up the rest of my day. I have a PT appointment this afternoon and already know my PT has a new knee strengthening routine for me. I'm looking forward to this. The exercises definitely work but I feel we need to move on a bit now.

Morning all, life has been really busy for me recently spreading my time between Liverpool and Lincoln, more of it in Liverpool than Lincoln as time goes on. The work in Lincoln is becoming way less interesting so it is gradually being fazed out, although I will keep the import business running as that takes up very few hours each week but it does top up the pension nicely. The house in Liverpool requires a lot of work doing to it, last weekend I had six sparkies here do a full rewire in a day, they left a lot of mess though, the central heating is currently being installed. I have decided to replaster most of the rooms myself after having a ridiculous quote from one guy and being let down by another. Social life wise Justine has us booked up for the rest of the year with very few weekends completely free, I am taking her to Turkey later in the year for her first time abroad. I am just about to drop her off at work now so I best clear off and I will catch up again soon.

I had friends on Orkney. A lovely place, better kept than back home (Shetland), less crime less drugs, etc.

But theyre a clannish lot. Ferry loupers aren't always welcomed with open arms, whereas my old lot were generally fairly accepting of incomers.

Im alright, feel exhausted though. Doc says it'll take a week or 10 days for that to pass.

I got off lucky though. A bobby I knew, nice guy too, redemtly had a stroke, lingered horribly in hossy for a month and died the other day, so I got off lightly with a TIA.

Soon as I'm mended I'm getting back out on the bike. Damn right I am.

Morning.
Was up earlyish but stuff on hence late arrival in the hallowed halls.
A ton of cycling kit washed, now about to put out as it's a lovely day.
Need to put some damp stain paint on ceiling of utility room as last week daughter flooded bathroom above and it came through downstairs of course. Fortunately I saw it in time to prevent too much damage. Bloody kids, although she is 21!

One day at a time, retirement ain't about a race, take care
