I had to go to town to post a couple of things. MR WD is on the roof fixing stuff.

It's quite humid here. Its not supposed to rain for the next week or so, but it does look like we may well have a shower or 2.

Have just finished reading Tess of the d'Urbervilles .. such a beautifully written book , but so tragic , made me feel quite depressed , I'm going out for a run now 'cause I can't sleep

A cool start at 12°. I like it to be 16° for a morning stroll but will see how I feel after my cuppa.
A proper quiet Sunday beckons.

Good morning. It will be hot. I've been awake for two hours now. I just can't get myself going. Think I'll pop back to bed and try to snooze. I think today could be difficult.

Good morning all.
A bright sunny start to the day here.
Our Daughter is calling in this afternoon, so no doubt she will want dinner of some sought.
A trip to Sainsbury's this morning when they open. I think I'll do paprika chicken with rice and home grown beans a nd carrots.
The normal dog walking and watering the garden first thing though.
I got bitten by a flying biting beastie🪰 on the ankle on yesterdsys walk along the canal. I'm applying ointment and taking antihistamines as it itches like made without them.
