I think some do. I’m sure my step mum put hers into a little charger. She was quite well off though and paid for them so maybe they were fancier than the NHS ones?

I cleaned the roller on my Vax it was full of my hair.
Mushroom omelette, peas and a few chips for lunch.
One of my forums said they needed to do an update and was off-line for 2 weeks
it's back on-line again, but they want £20 a year now, they call it "running costs"
I'm not too sure, but they have about 6000 members at £20 = £120,000
How much does it cost to run a small forum ?

My NHS ones take a tiny battery & do Bluetooth with an app though purchased ones can be rechargeable.

Yes, Mrs @Boldonlad’s NHS aids are same. They issue the batteries free. It occurs to me, it would be cheaper to upgrade to rechargeable, AND better for the environment. In addition, popping aid into a recharge pod, would be much easier than fiddling around with tiny batteries.
Just spent two hours booking a train ticket for myself and a bike from Stirling to Oban, Ferries from Oban to Barra, Barra to Eriskay, Berrernay to Leverburgh and Stornoway to Ullapool. Plus the bus from Ullapool to Inverness. Then I tried to book the train from Inverness back to Stirling. I've had three goes so far, it just doesn't seem to want me to book a one way ticket for one person and a bicycle using a veterans railcard. No trouble on the Stirling to Oban leg but it's just not having it from Inverness back to Stirling.
I think I might just go for a walk and try again later.

Another short wander done. It’s feeling a bit warmer now. I see we are to get down to 8 degrees tonight so it will be lovely and fresh first thing.

Just checked one of those cards with various sized button batteries on it, and they are small!
Hence a £1 coin for scale.. I would imagine that anyone with less than agile hands/fingers or poor eyesight might struggle!
