Not long back from my old village. Popped over to visit one of dad’s old neighbours that I keep in touch with. The more I go over there, the more I think I’d like to move back. I’m home with a bag of tomatoes from his greenhouse. The sweetness when you pop one in your mouth is amazing.

Salut. I am taking Molly to the vet at 3.15 because she has done something to her right front leg but I can't see anything myself. She keeps licking it. May be she has a small splinter in it?

It's my 2 day's work.. Start @ 03:00 and finish lunchtime.
(Last week it was because I was hiking in the Peak District so that was much better!)

I only did 7000 steps, but it was enough for me being an old fart

It's the wall under the kitchen window. There are 2 sides. I did one this afternoon. Ot needs another coat. I will do the other side tomorrow then if it isn't too hot I will do another coat on the first one I did

Been to the vet and Molly is having an x ray in the morning to see if she has a broken toe. In the meantime, she had a pain killer injection. Poor Molly.

2/3 of the way through today's little workshop job - making new footrests for my Montesa.
The old ones are too narrow and don't provide a firm enough platform.
Couldn't get any modern ones to bolt straight on, so I modified a pair I had off a mate. Had to cut the original brackets off the new rests, fabricate some new brackets from 8mm steel plate and weld them on.
I've finished the right hand side, made the bracket for the left side and just got to weld it up tomorrow morning. All ready for Sunday.
