And how bloody often it will wake you

eating about half a banana around 8.30 pm may help a bit, no alcohol, caffeine or acidic drinks in latter part of day

Morning

so the grand kids we delivered back at home yesterday afternoon
we came back home and rebuilt the house and then just slumped in front of the telly!

did have a good time with them mostly

I took them for a walk by telling them about a special new cafe in Runcorn
I told them it was in the centre near the golden statue
but it wouldn't be there any more - which confused them

I said they would understand when they see it

When we arrived near a canal the oldest worked out that it is a boat - but was confused about how it would work

anyway - they loved it

for those in the area it is called The Dinky Cafe Boat
Faceache link here https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61568981303711&sk=photos
and moves around the Bridgewater canal in the Runcorn area

ver nice and friendly with quite a few dog owners around that are clearly regulars in spite of them just starting up

(I am confused about starting up a boat cafe just before winter starts but whatever!

they are at Phooenix park today for the Park Run - then Moore tomorrow
My normal half way point for my ride is in Moore so I migth accidentally drop in tomorrow!

How can half a banana stop you needing a pee?.....unless you shove it up erhh ahh.....no, I won't go there

Bananas are good for bladder control because they are non-acidic, high in fiber to prevent constipation-related pressure on the bladder, and rich in potassium and magnesium. Regular bowel movements are important for urinary health, and bananas help promote them, making them a beneficial food for those with overactive bladders or other bladder control issues.
How Bananas Help Bladder Control

  • Fiber Content: Bananas are a great source of fiber, which promotes regular bowel movements. Constipation can lead to enlarged intestines, putting pressure on the urinary tract and restricting urine flow, so a high-fiber diet helps to alleviate this pressure.
  • Non-Acidic: As a non-acidic fruit, bananas are less likely to irritate the bladder compared to some other fruits.
  • Nutrient Rich: Bananas are packed with important minerals like potassium and magnesium. Magnesium supports normal muscle and nerve function, which can be beneficial for reducing bladder spasms.
  • Overall Bladder Health: By contributing to better digestive health and providing essential nutrients, bananas support a healthy urinary tract and can ease symptoms of an overactive bladder.

They're also slightly radioactive I believe. Be handy if they made your pee glow in the dark, save turning the light on 😁
