I did once and it was horrible
all hot sauce on lettuce and a sort of bread thing

I presume there was meat - or something like it - at the bottom but I chucked it in a bin before I got that far

I was drunk at the time so my view on any subject could be questioned

I think this is probably the ideal time to eat a kebab.

One of my drinking pals defines "affluence" as "not having to consider the price of the beer" 😂

On another evening, the discussion was "how expensive will the beer have to get, before you stop drinking?"

All a question of quality for me. We have a local brewery Rivington Brewing Co https://share.google/pH0Ad96S4iXIED0Cv who sell their beer for around £5.50 for a 500ml can.

On the face of it expensive but then it's fantastic beer and many pub beers can't hold a candle to it.

I had a little spin on the bike instead. Just 20 miles but it feels plenty these days. Still almost pitch dark as I set off but I have decent lights.

A very good day was had at the cricket 🏏 yesterday. Didn't get home until 1000 last night.

Bonjour. Going out for a meal in Rhyl at the 1891 restaurant for lunch. There will be 12 of us.
I am also thinking of doing the Aintree Sportive in Liverpool on September 14th, if the weather remains decent.
I haven't been for a ride since last Sunday but intend to put that right tomorrow.

Stay away from the A55 tomorrow as it will be bumper to bumper all the way back to England as all the tourists will be leaving Wales.
