A MASSIVE success for me ......I have just put fuel in the car and managed to round it up exactly the the (forty) pounds. Does anyone else try for that achievement or is it just me ??
Rain is due soon and it is very overcast.

I always used to when I were younger and you generally paid with those funny folding bits of paper

the shame of having to go and pay with a £10 note and then hunt for the extra penny was the stuff of nightmares!!!

but for many years now I just fill the tank

especially if the prices are likely to go up soon

of course - in the old days when Moses were a lad the price and stuff was done by physical spinning dials and they were accurate to time

on the modern electronic displays the display can lag a split second behind the actual amount used
or so "they" would have us believe

Just got a letter saying I have passed on for an X-ray

decided to just go direct to the walk-in centre as it was one of the options given
saves having to worry about forgetting it and all that

was not sure what it was actually for - there are several possibilities
but SWMBO - who used to work in hospital - said it was my foot
which turned out to be right

We have a sunny morning here, but, the forecast says it is going to start raining at 16:00, and, then, rain for next few days, on and off.

We grabbed the change to go out on our Hase Pino Steps tandem, a pleasant little spin, with coffee and cake stop, of course.

Somewhere along the route, I lost my "rear view" camera, my own fault, I have been meaning to attach the lanyard, and, never quite got around to it. Amazon to the rescue,, replacement promised today by 10pm!

I don’t know if it’s a slightly OCD trait or not, but I like to round numbers up too.

You’d like my Garmin distances, today for example was 9.09kM, I usually keep going until I have a palindromic number, 6.66 kM is probably my most popular, but then I'm a bit of a devil 😈

I fill my tank up until it clicks off, the last time was 07/03/25 ....it's very economical
more so if you don't use it, Oh and I still have half a tank left
I've burnt a CD and made a cover label.
Had lunch which was chicken pie gravy, brussels and mashed potatoes.
I think I deserve a sleep now........... bye for now

My lunch was fresh/still warm home made bread with corned beef and sliced onion. To follow I had a bowl of mixed fresh fruit with approx one cwt of ice cream on top.
