Just got back from Dalwhinnie, feeling very tired. Two 60km days with some very big steep hill. Managed to stay dry until 45 minutes before I made it back to the car. Got absolutely soaked. Still a very nice stay at the Loch Ossian hostel.

Cooooeeeeew. 13 deg here so a bit Brrrrr. We have a load some rain overnight as well.

The only time I have ever put £40 or more in my petrol tank has been the first time I have ever put petrol in each of my cars.

Good morning all, another sunny start to the day here, but it's due to cloud over and rain later. I hope we get more than yesterday we did have some heavy showers but the ground dried up in a matter of minutes once it had stopped.
Another appointment at the Vets. at 9.00 for some more acupuncture on Millie's back, it does seem to help with her walking.
Then I'll be packing a small suitcase as we are of any for a long weekend tomorrow up to the north of Suffolk for a few days. MrsP as usual doesn't know what to pack, late summer clothes, warm clothes, wet weather gear etc etc.😂
I'm meeting up with the escape committee this afternoon at the Railway Bell 🚂🔔 , so that's the day more or less sorted.

Overcast and wet and although not currently raining it's showers all day so weights today and ride tomorrow methinks.
Trip to vets later to pick up tablets for Oscar, he needs a daily pill which is a bit of a chore but fortunately he's so docile it's no problem administering it. If it was Toby now THAT would be a different matter.

Had our niece from Walsall stay over last night as she's going to a funeral today in Taunton. Lovely girl but she'd be a good candidate for Dr Now's TV programme. Her husband is much the same. I can't get my head around how, or why, they let themselves get like that.

Good morning, just saw Mrs Tkk and granddaughter off on the London train. A brief respite before other granddaughter gets dropped off at lunchtime. Waiting at the bus station I spotted this in the widow of the Subway food outlet.
