Turned up for my first spin class. In the car park as I'm turning left into a space a cyclist passes me on the inside and turns right across me........I responded in time honoured fashion.

Born and bred Sarf Efrican but I have spent more of my life in Oz.
Another nosey question......where abouts in Oz are you?
I enjoy watching the nature progs on TV and also some of the "Border Force" progs....... I use Google to get distances between eg airports such as Brisbane and Melbourne and cannot get over the sheer size of Oz.

I could not get over the vastness of Aussie, out of any city and in to the bush you could drive 3-4 hours without seeing another vehicle.

Yes, Mrs @BoldonLad has a brother in Oz (Near Sydney, Emu Plains). I recall, when we went to visit him, the pilot announced we were crossing West Coast, then, what seems like several hours later, we arrived in Sydney!

Thought that in Wyoming, drove for 4 hours down a highway, saw no sign of human life what so ever. Then half a dozen mailboxes on the fence, no houses, no farm track, nothing. Drove for another 4 hours to a town. Again no sign of anything but sage bush. Who was having their mail delivered out there?
