Pleasant ride around Pitsford Res, stopping for tea, coffee & cheesy chips with a friend whose first actual real outdoors ride it was since an injury due to sideways movement of the front wheel & an unplanned dismount a few months ago..
I could not get over the vastness of Aussie, out of any city and in to the bush you could drive 3-4 hours without seeing another vehicle.
I have just seen a Google map that superimposes the UK into various parts of Australia.........it is truly mind blowing.
A pity its full** of things that want to sting you, bite you or just eat you.
**that includes its surrounding waters that give the (false) impression they are beautiful and friendly.
Just couldn't face the 30mph wind today even though it's currently dry and sunny so did a turbo session. Not the greatest of fun but it's good training.
Heading rapidly now towards beer o'clock.
You could fit Great Britain into Australia just under 37 times,
or the UK pretends to be big on the world stage, but in fact we are very very small, but we shout alot.

Yes, Mrs @BoldonLad has a brother in Oz (Near Sydney, Emu Plains). I recall, when we went to visit him, the pilot announced we were crossing West Coast, then, what seems like several hours later, we arrived in Sydney!
