Oh, my laptop died yesterday but, as I don't use it much as I have a chromebook as well, I shan't buy another one.
Mrs G is in a bad mood today for some reason so I am staying out of her way.

got my Chimney Typhoon rods out last night to clean my Achill wood burning stove but its so bloody windy today I will postpone. The wind would blow soot all over the place . should have done it in July or August

I think the scaffolders have finished, it's not as bad as I thought, I have it in front of the kitchen window,
but they stopped short of my bedroom window and nothing in front of the lounge.
I asked them "what are we having done", but they didn't know.

I think that‘s because of the money available for breaking a world record, no point in upping it a load in one go, more lucrative to do it in many increments. Sergey Bubka did the same.

Well - went to the hospital this afternoon

turns out that I need a minor hernia operation
should be quite simple - just a small cut and a stitch or two
never had one before

all I can say is that the new Theatre Manager at the hospital had better be good!!
or I will be having words with his Mum (AKA my wife!!!)

anyway - if is minor and no urgency

so I do not expect an appointment this week!
