I am of a very delicate disposition.
It's OK for her, she is a woman and handle such things.

I am a woman and can’t handle medical stuff. I get distinctly queasy and faint with stuff like that, but the benefits do sound so good that I might have to pluck up the courage some time in the future.

Just come back from the hospital - and different one to yesterday

it was to see how my wife's CPAP machine is going on and whether or not she needs a new mask
(it is to help breathing overnight - bit like something Darth Vader would wear - and makes her sound like him as well!)

lots of discussions about straps and lube

I managed to refrain from making comments

Music bites:

1) We are thoroughly contemporaneous in our tastes but occasionally like to revisit former decades but struggle with finding a radio station that we like.

R2 is a bit twee & old fogey for us, but Virgin Radio Chilled, which we have just discovered, fits the bill.

70's to 90's hit after hit without the Beeb's presenter-prattle. Worth a shot, imo.

2) Just ordered some "earbuds" via that megastar of the fullfillment world - Amazon! Never tried them before, they will be here tomorrow. Looking forward to trying them. Anyone else use them?

Mrs D got the job. She starts next Wednesday, pops in on Monday to meet her team.

She'll be based locally only 10 minutes from home, so an enormous saving on time each week.

Nice one, good result.
I once had a job and the company relocated to Wakefield so, twice a week I had to travel SEVENTY MILES to the office ie 140 miles per day......a right royal pain in the ar*e that was.

Re earbuds.....I couldn't get used to them. Maybe I have funny shaped lugholes.
