Mostly packed bags yesterday…..looks like my bike is around 15kg, & the baggage more than doubles it 🫣

Well I'm up

wasn;t sure how the night would be as I wasn;t well yesterday evening
checked blood presssure and it was pretty low for me

and that was only when we thought of it and that was when I was starting to feel OK

anyway - it's fine this morning
probably due to eating too much for dinner and eating it too quickly
(I do that)

or something

anyway - see to be fine now
better had be as we are off on holiday next week!!!

Good morning from the Smoke. I'm trying to enjoy a quiet coffee in a Travelodge cafe. Two problems with this; coffee is very poor and the place is full of noisy people. Mrs P slept very badly last night so I sneaked out of our room about 7.00 to leave her in peace.

Yesterday was good, a decent journey down followed by an interesting visit to Tate Modern, several things I really enjoyed, a stroll beside the Thames, nice pint of Aspall cider followed by dinner at Wagamama - always reliable for good, fresh well prepared food at a sensible price.

Later I will discover the itinerary for the day. I do know we are going to see Till the Stars Come Down at the Haymarket tonight. I know something else. Mrs P has confessed she doesn't have the tickets. Now lads, fellow men, husbands, lovers if you were in London and admitted the tickets were not in your email what would happen????? Hmmm???? The Tower? Traitor's Gate? At the very least hung, drawn and quartered.........I have remained silent 🤣

You epitomise the NO WIN situation.

Will cut the grass this avo. With a bit of luck only once or maybe twice more this year after that.

Funnily enough I have just been outside to check if our is dry enough for that

It has been recovering nicely the last few weeks after being messed up badly by the landscaping people but if I leave it much longer it will be too wet and will end up looking like a field of hay by Spring!!

gonna' finish this cuppa first though

I am watching the athletics which, today and tomorrow, is the women's heptathlon.
Many of the sports stagger me ie how do the pole vaulted do that ?
Re' the heptathlon, how can any person be so good at so many different events?
