Good morning from the Smoke. I'm trying to enjoy a quiet coffee in a
Travelodge cafe. Two problems with this; coffee is very poor and the place is full of noisy people. Mrs P slept very badly last night so I sneaked out of our room about 7.00 to leave her in peace.
Yesterday was good, a decent journey down followed by an interesting visit to Tate Modern, several things I really enjoyed, a stroll beside the Thames, nice pint of Aspall cider followed by dinner at Wagamama - always reliable for good, fresh well prepared food at a sensible price.
Later I will discover the itinerary for the day. I do know we are going to see Till the Stars Come Down at the Haymarket tonight. I know something else. Mrs P has confessed she doesn't have the tickets. Now lads, fellow men, husbands, lovers if you were in London and admitted the tickets were not in your email what would happen????? Hmmm???? The Tower? Traitor's Gate? At the very least hung, drawn and quartered.........I have remained silent 🤣
