Bright and sunny. Did I say bright and sunny? Geez. Wet! Any thought of grass cutting has been binned. I'll get the hoover out shortly.

Talking of Tesco. Bamboo toothbrushes. I like to buy these, less plastic and recyclable handle.

Home Bargains pack of 3 individually wrapped in compostable paper in recyclable box. 99p

Tesco Colgate brush pack of 1 in coloured cardboard and bubble plastic. £4.10

That's 12 times the price in Tesco and less environmentally sound. I reviewed the product on the Tesco website, something I rarely do. I wonder if it will be published?

What do they mean by "bamboo toothbrushes" or base layers or boxers etc.
Is Bamboo a make/manufacturer ?

Bamboo handle. Cut the head off and in to general waste pin. The handle I usually add to the kindling pile though I've chucked a couple on the compost heap recently to see what happens.

On bit of a tangent I use a toothbrush to clean the chalk off holds on my climbing wall.( climbers have done this for years both on real rock and on climbing walls)
You can buy specific brushes for this rather than in the old days using your worth out Colgate one.
In these times of using less plastic you can get ones with wooden handles. However strangely these are not as effective at cleaning the holds as the ones with plastic handles.
So take care your teeth don’t suddenly go green.😬😉
