Good morning all.
It's a misty, damp start to the day here in Barnet.
First off, happy birthday @Accy cyclist
I'll be out and about on the bike today, I've got to go to the market for some fresh fruit, but that is after dropping MrsP off at the station. Her and a friend are going to Canterbury for a couple of days.
That gives me a few days with the dog and the cats.

Morning folks its not raining or blowing or freezing whoopie so off for a spin in a while to my new 'favourite' hill....
Ive started to collect daffodils it seems, so far ive bought Actaea, Sailboat and Jack Snipe, there are scented varieties so might get some of those.
A neighbour gave me an old laptop which has windows chess titans on it so have been trying to sharpen up my chess ii set it on level 10 so it might take a while before i win.....its comprehensively trashing me at the moment

Morning.
After days of relentless rain it's actually bright. Plan is to ride with a mate tomorrow so today will be window cleaning as after all wind/rain it's hard to tell what weather is like. Then weights then rugby all afternoon/evening.

MrsP is a happy girl, she got her letter from the DWP yesterday with the code to apply for her state pension which will start in March.

Bloomin' young 'uns coming on here!!!

anyway today it seems the women have arranged something
SWMBO and her sister and a cousin from far away (Lancashire)

The brother-in-law can e a pain so I suspect that the arrangement for him to drop his wife off at the relevant pub will become me driving up to their house and bringing down here and then taking them both
and them doing the reverse after

but it does mean I have a few hours t myself to get some things done without "help" and "supervision"

The rain has finally stopped although the sky is still very dark.
Off to B@Q at 11 to finalise the new kitchen Mrs G wants.
My savings are going to take a big hit today and I will need a stiff drink 🍸 later to soften the blow.

Went back to bed at 7ish and slept well till 10.
Just getting me gob around a cooked breckie......Bacon, egg, sausage, tomato and 2 hash browns....yummy.

My car is ready at the garage and I have a lift so will be off to collect it soon

well the lift will be handy for getting up and down stairs

not sure how it helps you get to the garage though??????

Brisk walk along Blue Anchor prom this morning. Back home, had a spot of lunch and then posted several motorcycle parts for sale on eBay.
