Where are you not moving?

M65 eastbound. I now know there were two accidents eastbound and two westbound which basically messed up everything for miles around.

Coming home from my son's with #3 granddaughter I used local cycling knowledge to avoid traffic. Still took 50 minutes for a 20 minute journey but at least I was moving. That made sure the small one slept through it all.

Up to Wellesborne airfield today on the motorbike to meet a pal for lunch, crikey it’s cold out there, the temperatures have really dropped. Beautiful day though

Heavy rain and it's dark n gray out there.
Freezer is full, fire is on and I have at least 3 films recorded..... so that's my day sorted.

Well that's that sorted

Had pre-op at the hospital

turns out that they forgot to tell me to stop taking some tablet several days ago
so that means it has to be re-scheduled
plus there was a 7 day ecg thingy that was supposed to be done but got forgotten about and they won;t do the operation until it is checked

so there was that as well

anyway - got home and there was worse to come!!

Just back another short, drizzly walk round the town. It’s only 2 degrees still and to get to under zero tonight so it might be treacherous first thing with the wet roads and pavements freezing. I’ll try and have a long lie.

The house feels slightly stuffy though so I’ve opened the window for a while.

Bright sunshine at the moment. A good turnout for this mornings walk, 17 in total. I carried on a bit further then turned round which meant a small diversion to the church hall to make sure the ladies had got back ok, before heading to 'Spoons to meet up with the rest. I had a Pint of " Dark Fruits " from Salem Brewery, luscious! and perused the Christmas menu. It appears that a lot of it has been made " Christmas " by the addition of cranberry sauce. ( Feta and Garlic Pizza with a a cranberry dressing being one example )

I take it you’re vegetarian? Do you just not like meat or is it for ethical reasons?

Ww have had rain.

Pork, roast potatoes, stuffing, peas and gravy was consumed although I couldn't eat it all
