I take it you’re vegetarian? Do you just not like meat or is it for ethical reasons?

Yes, Mo, been vegetarian for more than 60 years ( i started young 😁 ) A combination of ethics and not liking the idea of eating meat. It's a personal choice for everyone of course. There's always been some amazing veggie food ( growing up in Brum I frequented many many Indian restuarants ). Had six months following a Soya free, Gluten free Vegan diet when the medical people were trying pin down my medical condition, that was surprisingly easy once I got into the swing of it, and I must admit that It's come in quite handy if I bump into one of the new " Born again Vegans " in a Three Yorkshiremen sketch kind of way 😁

Ww have had rain.

Pork, roast potatoes, stuffing, peas and gravy was consumed although I couldn't eat it all

Evening all.
It’s been a reasonable successful day . Volunteering went well, the last of the willows have been coppiced and the main remaining trunks have been ring cut to try and slow re growth as the Warwickshire wildlife trust want to keep it as wet meadows and not become a forest . It’s a good job we got it finished today as I reckon the water level is still rising and I think the area will be impossible to access very soon .
In other good news we now have a working fridge freezer 😀

You misread. I meant I always finish a meal. It would have to have something wrong with it to stop me eating it.

not surprised - we are about as low as you can go without getting wet at high tide and pretty close to the Mersey
