Morning folks :okay: will be waiting for a delivery today which i hope i can track....cant stand staying home not knowing when it will arrive
Watched seasons 1-4 of 'Shetland' i found it engaging/entertaining with quite convoluted stories and sometimes i literally lost the plot as i couldnt remember who had done what to who  dont think i would like to live there as its quite dour with grey skies more often than blue and the murder rate is a tad high!

Morning all :hello:

MrsD has a hair appointment this morning and I've got some parcels to post.
Very mild but manky out there today.

You were allowed to order a kids portion? I didn't know that could happen.

We always order kids meals at lunchtimes, never been refused apart from one pub about 5 years ago, where the girl behind the bar said she wasn't sure whether she could do it.
I explained that we weren't that hungry and there was nothing on the main menu that we fancied. She went and found the boss - who said 'no problem'.
I work on the principle that they aren't going to turn away custom.

A pleasant surprise this morning, got my Christmas present off the lovely Rachel.

I think I may go rash and spend it all at once, coffee and a toasted teacake at Costa, I think. 😂

Well - I have just rung the hospital

I had an appointment on 223rd October and they wanted a blood test as my Coeliac test were too high - which was weird as the dietician said it was "about as low as you can get it"

ANyway - had the test but the results go to the hospital and don;t appear on the NHS app - at least not so far

and I have got a lot better at sticking to the diet over the last year or so - so the old results might be rubbish - including I might be getting it all wrong!

SO I rang up to check and it seems like I am down for another appointment - in April next year with the person who said I was doing OK

so I have asked them to send me the test results

but honestly - why not just chuck them at the NHS App then everyone will have them??

That's what it is there for!!

Annoying thing is that this is OK for an awkward b****r like me who will ring up and check - but a lot of people just trust the doctor and assume they know what they are doing and will tell them what they need to do
