Although it's not cold it is rainy, damp and windy. It's getting dark, well it really hasn't got properly light today. Tomorrow should be better.

Bonjour. I had my right eye assessment for my cataract operation this morning which should be next month. Right eye first then left one about 3 / 4 weeks later.
Back home now and resting my eye as my vision is still a bit blury after the drops they put in.

Its a piece of cake.
Dirks wife has had both done a Dirk says he didn't feel a thing.

Wrapped a potato in foil and seeing if the stove will produce a jacket potato for dinner. An experiment.

The eye hospital I am going to is in Cheshire Oaks which is 45 minutes away from home and my wife doesn't like driving so far so my son offered to take me.
I offered to pay for his petrol but he drives an electric car.

Evening folks got my roses yay! its been relatively mild here so got them all planted and happy in there new home. Just have to wait till june now to see some flowers.
A spin tomorrow as there appears to be a weather window.

7½ hours I've spent updating my lad's xBox. Most of that time spent waiting for huge downloads, 50+GB each, to finish and install. He's happy. Dad has lost a full day.
