Evening folks 
managed a spin today as it was reasonably mild but still came across some ice...had to get off and walk for 100 yrds or so, good to be out though 
I gave my neighbour an apple tree a few years ago which he never picks! i noticed the blackbirds like them though and have been pecking the ones still on the tree. The birdbath is being used which im pleased about.

Go away. I haven't won anything for about 6 months now although did i cash most of mine in to buy my new car, not a new new one, just new to me

Evening all .
Was back volunteering today , it seem very hard work today. So hard I had to take a extra break , I donāt know if itās because I am back sailing again or because my diverticulitis is playing up badly again, but I just feel completely washed out today. š
Or it could be the thought of going for a job interview next week , for a job donāt really want because itās full time .š
Itās my daughterās fault , she was helping me navigate though the council job portal so I could apply for a couple of nice part time jobs ( which I didnāt get ) and she persuaded to apply for this job as well . š Sorry for mentioning the w@@k word.
And PS in other news I think the fridge part of our new fridge freezer is faulty, it doesnāt seem cold enough what ever the temperature itās set at . We have got a fridge thermometer and will take some reading to confirm our suspicions before going back to the shop.

Cheers. Ive the symptoms in some way since 2022.. Eventually I got referred to hospital in september 2024, had the tests in October and the results cameback though the app in November . But my follow up appointment has now been cancelled 4 times and I still waiting for a new one.
My initial tests for this ( and other problems ) have been quick.. But this lack of a follow up appointment in this case, has tested my patience just a little bit. Especially as I havnt had this experience other departments of the hospital.

Morning, been awake since 01:00, even had me breakfast.Good morning all.
Its a tad early so I will type quietly.
Woke up and it's one of those, do I curl up in this nice warm bed or get up and face the world.
I think what decided it was that I am sat slurping a Lemsip. Not sure how beneficial they are, it's not as though I can compare it ie what would I be like without them.
Anyway........
Guacamole to you. Never had that in all my years but my daughter made some yesterday and brought me some on thick fresh bread. This was followed by home made Stilton and brocolli soup........that's right ebiker......STILTON.

I was up at 1.30 needing a pee. TBH I thought it would be 7ish as I was in a deep sleep.
Anyway Mr Numbnuts, it's going to be a lovely day which will lift our spirits.

Good Morning. At 3.30 there was a frost down, that has lifted now. I'm surprised I expected it to get colder and today's ride plans to be abandoned. Here I am, back again. Yesterday was non-stop from childminding at 8.00 all the way through to getting home from Ewood at 10.30pm. Is it any wonder I get nackered? A poor sleep and I've been around since 3.30, at least I've got stuff done.
The plan for today is a ride. One of my buddies has put together a local route, mostly new to me, 42 miles and 2800 feet. In reality that will prove to be 3500+ Planning gets tricky from now on. Sunrise +/- 08.00 sunset +/- 16.00. We don't like to leave home much before 08.45, school run, and all want to be back no later than 15.00/30. My buddies and I live in three different directions from the meet point!!!!! Today's loop passes my road so I start the ride here, pick them up at the meet point and drop off as we finish the loop back by my road. Life can get complicated!!
