Good morning all.
Its a tad early so I will type quietly.
Woke up and it's one of those, do I curl up in this nice warm bed or get up and face the world.
I think what decided it was that I am sat slurping a Lemsip. Not sure how beneficial they are, it's not as though I can compare it ie what would I be like without them.
Anyway........
Guacamole to you. Never had that in all my years but my daughter made some yesterday and brought me some on thick fresh bread. This was followed by home made Stilton and brocolli soup........that's right ebiker......STILTON.
Have a good day all.

Bonjour. Lovely sunny day here but I can't go for a ride as I have 3 dogs to look after today. Mrs G and our daughter in law have gone shopping in Chester for the day so I have her two dogs.
I cut a bit of wood for kindling earlier and am thinking about what to do next. I think I will check my bike for tomorrow's ride.

Morning (just)

I was up late - I think the whiskey that accidentally got drunk last night was the reason!!

Anyway - I'm sort of functioning now

better had be - I have a Christmas Party to go to at 3 - in St Helens so I'll be driving there after dropping SWMBO at the hairdressers

I am a bit nervous about the party - I have a terrible memory for faces and names so I probably won't know whether or not I have met the people there before or not unless I have seen them several times!
Oh - it is for the staff and volunteers for the AgeUK thing I do and it is in their main place - which is not where I operate so the people I normally see may not be there at all!

I have always been nervous of parties and events and the like - never liked going
but many many years ago I told myself that I just need to get on with it and always go however worried I am
otherwise I would never go anywhere
I am weird like that

Being lazy my MO is to periodically trim my beard short, and then let it grown until Mrs D starts making comments about me looking like ove just walked off a Jethro Tull album cover, and then crop it back again.

Such comments were forthcoming ladt night, somtoday I've had a shave and I've sculpted a natty porn star moustache as a surprise for when she arrives home.

That was how I used to work

when I was a teacher I let the kids in my class tell me when my hair needed cutting - they loved it when they said it needed doing and I turned up the next day with it cut - did wonders for behaviour!!
